Bags of ice melt by lunchtime. The chiller holds 3°C at 6am on a July morning and 12°C for a first-timer, with a pump, filter and ozone sanitiser keeping the water clean between changes.
It sits on 1.8 by 1.2 metres, weighs 85 kg empty, and travels empty. We fill it from your hose on delivery day and the chiller takes it down from there: allow up to 24 hours to reach your set temperature, less in cool weather. Most people start at 10 to 12°C for two minutes and work down over the month.

Cold water, sensibly
Cold shock is real. Start at 10 to 12°C for one to three minutes, breathe out slowly as you get in, never plunge alone, and get out when it stops being enjoyable. Anyone with a heart, blood pressure or circulation condition should check with their GP first. Not after alcohol.
